His Royal Highness, Prince Estifanos Matewos, President of the United Africa Royal Assembly, together with the Royal Council and the full fellowship of the Assembly, unite with His Excellency President John Mahama, the Government and people of Ghana, the grieving families, and Ghana’s representatives in the Assembly, in lamenting the sudden and grievous loss of Hon. Minister Edward Omane Boamah, Hon. Minister Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, and six other distinguished citizens of Ghana, whose lives were tragically cut short in a helicopter disaster on Wednesday, 6th August 2025.
The United Africa Royal Assembly stands steadfast beside the Republic of Ghana in this dark hour of mourning.
Our hearts and prayers are with the departed, their loved ones, and all touched by this sorrow. May the people of Ghana draw fortitude and solace from the enduring example of service, duty, and devotion embodied by those who have fallen.
May their honoured souls find everlasting rest.
